The UK is home to some of the world’s oldest and finest educational institutions. It houses two of the world’s top three universities, and 26 are in the top 200 best institutions for learning, according to QS figures. 2022. UK graduates are considered among the most employable in the world, with three UK universities ranked in the global top 20 for employability, and 14 ranked in the top 100, as per Top Universities Employability Rankings, 2021. The UK’s Graduate Route allows international students to apply to stay in the UK and work or look for work, upon graduation. International students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or master’s degree have the option to apply to stay in the UK for up to two years. PhD graduates can apply to stay for up to three years. The ample part-time work opportunities which, apart from helping one meet some part of their expenses, also gives students precious work experience to facilitate their entry into the UK job market.
